Kaiserslautern snatch late win over Cologne

BERLIN, Reuters

Kaiserslautern scored twice and had a player sent off in a dramatic last two minutes as they beat Cologne 3-1 in the Bundesliga on Friday.

French international midfielder Youri Djorkaeff put Kaiserslautern ahead from the penalty spot in the ninth minute but German under-21 international Christian Timm equalized with a free-kick from 16 meters nine minutes later.

Kaiserslautern broke the deadlock in the dying minutes when Egyptian defender Hani Ramzy scored in the 88th minute but suffered a setback when their Greek midfielder Dimitrios Grammozis was sent off one minute later.

Yugoslav defender Slobodan Komljenovic secured all three points just before time.
