At least two hurt in Jerusalem blast

Israeli police said at least two people were hurt on Thursday in an explosion apparently caused by a car bomb in an ultra-Orthodox neighbourhood of Jerusalem.

Israel Radio reported there were two explosions. Grey smoke billowed in the air over the scene.

“There are at least two wounded in light to moderate condition as a result of the explosion…Police have sealed off the area and are checking it,” Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said.

He said a grey Kia car had exploded.
