Eva Air captain becomes 100,000th Airbus trainee

The Airbus training center presented a trophy to Captain Chang Lun Ku of Eva Air on July 5 for being the center’s 100,000th trainee.

The trophy was presented by Airbus executive vice president for customer services patrick gavin and senior vice president for Training and flight Operations Division Pierre Baud.

The Toulouse center, established in 1972, together with centers in Miami (USA) and Beijing (mainland China) provide airlines with training to ensure a smooth and safe entry into the service of Airbus aircraft around the world.

Teaching is based on a combination of academic and practical training, supported by state-of-the-art training equipment such as fixed base simulators and full flight simulators with visual and motion systems. The wide variety of courses can be tailored to meet operators’ individual training requirements.
