Taipei American School to hold sale for charity

The Taipei American School (TAS) annual Fall Orphanage Club Rummage Sale will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at TAS, according to a TAS press release Household items, toys, games, and clothing are the main items sold in the sale. Cold drinks and Indonesian food will be available there.

All the proceeds from the Rummage Sale are used to fund various Orphanage Club projects including outings for orphans and the annual Pearl S. Buck Christmas Party for over 600 deserving people. Also on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. is the Orphanage Club Flea Market, where community members will be selling a variety of items. There is no admission charge for the sale and everyone is welcome and encouraged to come with their family and friends, the TAS said. For more information, please visit: www.tas.edu.tw.
