TAIPEI — Taiwan’s HTC Corp., a major maker of smartphones running on Google’s Android operating system, saw its consolidated revenues fall in the fourth quarter of last year, according to a statement released Friday by the company.
Consolidated revenues in the October-December period reached NT$101 billion (US$3.4 billion), registering a decrease of 2.49 percent year-on-year, the company said.
The unaudited operating income was nearly NT$13 billion, while the net income after tax was NT$11 billion, it said.
Unaudited earnings per share after tax was recorded at NT$13.13.
The company issued its financial report after the end of Friday trading on the stock market in which shares of HTC closed down 0.72 percent at NT$482.
