Burkina Faso ambassador expresses thanks to NCKU


TAIPEI–The Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Taiwan, Jacques Y. Sawadogo, accompanied by the Second Counselor, Daouda Bitie, recently visit National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), in southern Taiwan, to express his gratitude to NCKU for nurturing talents of his country.

Sawadogo, who was visiting Taiwan for the first time, praised NCKU for being a distinguished university in Taiwan, appreciated accepting students from Burkina Faso and said he looked forward to furthering cooperation with NCKU.

President Hwung-Hweng Hwung of NCKU welcomed the Ambassador and had him informed with the study reports of the Burkina Faso students at NCKU.

Currently there are four Burkina Faso’s students studying resources engineering, environmental engineering, environmental and occupational medicine, and IMBA at NCKU, respectively, while three students had graduated from civil engineering and IMBA.
