Garuda Indonesia puts in orders for 11 additional A330-300s from Airbus


LONDON — Airbus says Garuda Indonesia has placed a firm order for 11 A330-300 aircraft, bringing the airline’s total order to 21 for that version of the wide-body plane.

Airbus announced that the contract was signed Wednesday in Jakarta by Emirsyah Satar, the airline’s president and CEO, and Tom Williams, executive vice president of programs at Airbus. Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and British Prime Minister David Cameron attended the signing.
