Asus ranks as No. 1 digital services firm: magazine


TAIPEI–Asus beat 378 local companies in 15 industries yesterday to clinch the number one spot in terms of its digital services at the 2012 Top Corporations Digital Services Awards organized by Business Next magazine.

Asus won out with a total score of 85.2 points out of a possible 100 thanks to its ability to use social networking to reach consumers, as well as its inclusion of downloadable software available on product introduction Web pages that makes it easier for Web surfers to navigate the sites.

In addition, the company has also established cloud computing services to further expand its customer base, which has also earned it a good online reputation.

Chunghwa Telecom was second with 83.2 points, followed in third by Cathay Life Insurance Co. with 82.4 points, which was cited for its provision of many downloadable forms needed for things such as getting married, changing careers and reporting illnesses.
