A Taipei secondary school yesterday expelled two students for pouring excrement on the heads of homeless people.
The Qiang Shu High School made the decision although the two — third-year senior high students surnamed Zeng and Chen, both in their early twenties — apologized publicly on Saturday for their actions. The actions by Zeng, Chen and two other persons triggered public outrage after they posted videos of the incident online.
The school expelled the two after a provisional meeting yesterday found their actions disorderly and damaging to school reputation.
