North Coast festival to hold night concerts on July 22, 28

The China Post news staff–The 2012 North Coast Ocean Music Festival will feature two outdoor concerts on the nights of July 22 and July 28, allowing local people to enjoy music performances by famous bands and singers and tour scenic areas in the north coast, according to the organizer of the event — North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration.

The Sweet Night concert on Sunday, July 22 will be held at the Yehliu Geopark, with the famous Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra and renowned signer Michelle Pan (Pan Yueh-yun).

In order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration, visitors to the concert can tour the Yehliu Geopark free of charge starting from 4:30 p.m. on July 22 and get a small gift. As for the Rock Night concert slated for Sunday, July 28 at the Chianshui Bay, popular bands and singers, including the What Band, Chemical Monkey Band, Freya Lim and Andrew Tan, will be giving their performances. In addition, many restaurants and hotels located in the north coast will join the festival by offering preferential prices for consumers.
