BUON MA THOUT, Vietnam–Taiwan is promoting coffee it grew on the soil of Vietnam in an international coffee festival, which was opened Saturday in Buon Ma Thuot, the capital city of Dak Lak province in central Vietnam.
Taiwanese businesses displayed high-quality, organic and fresh raw coffee beans, and brewed coffee to attract visitors to their exhibition zone at the venue of the 2013 Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival.
The coffee growers have run an organic coffee tree plantation and management system in the Southeast Asian country for two years, businessman Wang Yu-wen from Taiwan said.
“Now they are rich in harvest,” said Wang. Nearly 200 Vietnamese and foreign coffee businesses set up 725 booths at the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, which is held every two years to promote Vietnamese coffee and boost coffee exports.
