Pharmaceutical regulatory center is set up at NCKU


TAIPEI–The Center for Pharmaceutical Regulatory Science has been officially set up at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) to promote the administration and education of pharmaceutical regulation in Taiwan, the university announced March 25.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Department of Health, Executive Yuan, and NCKU signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) March 25 for building a platform of pharmaceutical regulatory science to jointly promote pharmaceutical education, cultivate personnel training for pharmaceutical administration.

To formulate the white paper on food and drug policy and nonprescription medicines management policy is the priority for the center which will serve as a national platform for the government, the academia and the industry to integrate the resources and talents.
