It is the second year CTBC Bank won the award for Best Data Analytics Programme, which shows the recognition the bank receives internationally for its efforts in improving its big data analytics technology to better serve its customers.

The bank said that it analyzed data collected through the 5,000 types of services and marketing activities it provides to its cardholders to provide timely interactions in accordance with the location and identity of the users.

The best new product winner recently started offering personalized services – including credit card account information inquiry, payment alarm and reward point notification, and more – on its official LINE account. The services are protected by a multi-step verification mechanism to enhance security.

The CEPI Awards are based on a selection process which starts with nominations from industry professionals. The entries then undergo a shortlisting process by the editorial board, based on quality and innovativeness, and corroborated information from executive interviews and facts from peers and industry experts are considered.

The shortlisted entries are then subjected to final deliberations by the CEPI Asia Awards judging panel and rated individually, with the winner determined by the aggregated scores from the judges.
