YONGJING, Changhua (The China Post/ANN) Eighty-five Taiwan’s finest bonsai and suiseki are displayed from Nov. 4 to 26 at Cheng-Mei cultural park (CMCP). Joining this exceptional event, 428 bonsai experts from as many as 58 countries are joining the 14th Asia-Pacific Bonsai Exhibition.
On Nov. 5 and 6, four bonsai experts, from France, Venezuela, Germany and South Korea, already gave demonstrations, putting Yongjing Township under the international spotlights.
Speaking to the media, Chen Mao-jia, CEO of CMCP, said that Yongjing is the township of seedling in Taiwan as the country’s bonsai expertise is admired globally.
By hosting the 14th Asia-Pacific Bonsai Exhibition, organizers expect that bonsai experts around the world will discover the unique beauty of Taiwan bonsai.
During the 22-day exhibition, the international bonsai experts will be exploring the art of bonsai. Tours are arranged in multi-languages for the experts to share their efforts of reconstructing historical relics and passing down traditional culture.
