In Google’s “Year in Search 2017”, “How” is chosen as a key word

Did you achieve your own goals in 2017? What does the year of 2017 mean to you? Recently, Google has released a video of “Year in Search 2017”, in which though there are a lot of shootings, explosions, and even rare natural disasters; in the meanwhile, there are also a lot of people keeping searching for “how,” including how to help Las Vegas, how to help the flood victims, and how to help refugees. It shows that people around the world support each other when facing the difficulties.
In Google’s 2-minute video “Year in Search”, the word “how” is chosen to be the key word of searching in 2017. The world keeps asking how for not only themselves to run a business or being curious about the nature and international relations, but also the ways to help those in need and in danger.
Google has also publicized the 2017 top 10 searches of the global rankings.

The words which have been searched the most are “Hurricane Irma”. Hurricane Irma is the strongest hurricane on the earth in 12 years. Matt Lauer occupying the top 4 was the former star anchor in NBC who was fired in November for being involved in sexual harassment. The number five of the rankings is Meghan Markle, the fiancée of Prince Harry. She is an actress as well as a model, and she and Harry are going to marry in the spring in 2018. As a American and a biracial African American, this new member of British royal family not only attracts worldwide attention, but also means a lot to the tradition of the Royals.
