Huang Chi-Fung, the chairman of Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), stated that the TAITRA will cooperate with electric motorcycle companies to set up a national team which is trying to occupy the electric vehicle market in India. The chairman of the TAITRA Huang Chi-Fung indicated India has a population of 1.3 billion, but the number of electric motorcycles is only 400 thousand. As the plan, the Union of Taiwan Electric Vehicle will be officially fund in the first season next year, and in May, it will set up an electric vehicles exhibition hall in the Taiwanese image exhibition in India. Not only will the Taiwanese companies be recruited there to illustrate the latest technology and applications, but more Indian electric vehicles manufacturers will be invited to Taiwan to purchase, and also receive customized service.
