NEW YORK (AP) — A Justin Timberlake party at Prince’s Paisley Park over Super Bowl weekend has upset some die-hard fans of the Purple One. Timberlake and Prince had a diss history that’s fresh on some minds leading into Super Bowl mania in Minneapolis. And the overseers of Paisley Park outside of town have been granted a temporary liquor license for the duration.
Sherry Stacy in Detroit says Prince was against alcohol at Paisley and worries what JT’s potentially over -served guests might do to the place. But superfan “Dr. Funkenberry” says Paisley needs to make money to remain viable as a museum.
Timberlake’s listening session is set for Feb. 1 at Paisley Park to support the release of his new album, “Man of the Woods,” the next day.
