On the stage, before introducing Sufjan Steven to a performance of the original sound in movie Call me by your name, Mystery of Love, Daniela Vega asked everyone in the hall to feel the moment, to feel love. This moment meant a lot to her but this kind of love didn’t come easily. Since little, Daniela Vega knows she has strong desire for becoming a female. At the age of 17, she could finally wave farewell to her male body and transferred into a real woman. Daniela Vega has been at a loss with a female body, and it was hard to find a job for her indentity as a transgender. In that difficult period, she had no idea what to do in the future neither has thought that she would come to the Oscars one day.
