Portland, March 28 (CNA) A foreign exchange student from Taiwan has been arrested in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania for allegedly threatening to attack his high school, police in the state’s Upper Darby township said Wednesday.

The 18-year-old, identified as An Tso Sun, was found to have a military vest and ammunition at his residence, the Upper Darby Police Department said in a Twitter post, with a photo of the suspect.

Sun came from Taiwan on a 5-year student visa last July to study at Bonner Prendergast Catholic High School in Delaware County, police superintendent Michael Chitwood said in a news conference.
