CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Kiki Bertens of the Netherlands won a third-set tiebreaker to rally past American Madison Keys 6-4, 6-7 (2), 7-6 (5) and reach the finals of the Volvo Car Open on Sunday.

Bertens, the 12th seed, will face either No. 5 Julia Goerges of Germany or No. 8 Anastasija Sevestova of Latvia in the championship later Sunday. The semifinals were delayed Saturday because of continuing rain at the WTA’s first clay-court tournament of the season.

Goerges and Sevestova were tied at 4-all in their opening set before rain halted play for the day.

Bertens entered the week having won just four matches. She’s won five here as she looks for her first title of the season.

Bertens trailed 5-4 in the final set before forcing the tiebreaker.
