Korean film “Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days”(與神同行：最終審判) is in theaters since 1th August in Korea (8th August in Taiwan) and makes a hit in just few days.
With a record $8.6m on its first day in Korea, “Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days” holds the record for the fastest film to reach more than 10 millions attendance in just 2 weeks in South Korea, which is the golden standard which all blockbusters hope to surpass: it is the benchmark against which a film’s mass-market appeal is measured.
In Taiwan, the film also reaches NTD12.4 million box office on the first day of its releasethen becomes the most popular Korean movie in Taiwan.
