TAIPEI (The China Post) – “Mr. Entertainment” stopped in Kaohsiung over the weekend for two concerts en route to his world tour.
The event on Jan. 20 was scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. but the LED screen on the left-hand side of the stage suddenly came off and ended up suspended in mid-air.
Fortunately, no one was injured, but reparation work took until 8 p.m. so that the concert eventually started at 8:30 pm.
Jam Hsiao was rehearsing when the LED screen came off and hit the underneath framework while suspended in mid-air.
The director immediately asked his staff, musicians, and Hsiao to leave the stage. Jam also made sure that everyone left without delay and luckily no one was injured.
Later on, Summer, Jam’s agent, announced that the concert would be delayed in order to fix the screen and the tickets could be reimbursed before the event started, if necessary.
After the screen was fixed and all equipment were checked, Summer added that the concert could unfold as planned while Jam was already dressing up and getting ready to get onstage.
