TAIPEI (The China Post) – The company behind popular mobile game Pokémon GO, Niantic Labs, recently announced the release of the brand new “GO snapshot.”

You can use this new feature to take pictures of your Pokémons in your PokéBox whenever and wherever you want. This feature is very simple to use. You just have to turn on the camera from your PokéBox, then select the Pokémon you intend to photograph.

Another way to use this feature is to first select the Pokémon from the PokéBox, then tap the camera icon on the top right of the screen. Once the camera is opened, point the camera toward a smooth surface.

Gently move the camera around until footprints show up on the screen. Finally, tap to throw a Pokéball where you want the Pokémon to appear. You can then take as many pictures as you’d like!

According to the official announcement, players can freely move the camera using this feature. You will even be able to walk behind it.

If the Pokémon is not looking at the camera, you can touch it to attract its attention. When using GO snapshot, you can take as many photos you want. All of your pictures will be stored on your device, ready to be shared on any social media platform.

Even though there is still time to the official release of GO Snapshot, the Pokémon Company still urged players to send them your best photos with #GOsnapshot, as they will be featured on the official Pokémon GO twitter page.
