Taiwanese artist Yang Shih-hao impresses ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ judges

TAIPEI (The China Post) – Yang Shih-hao, a 26-year-old Taiwanese artist who specializes in Cyr wheel performance, debuted at “Asia’s Got Talent” last February and impressed the three judges to a great extent.

During the show, Yang Shih-hao performed with his ‘partner’ Cyr wheel with great intensity accompanied by classical music, which differentiated his performance from any other Cyr wheel performances that focus more on skills.

Before Yang started performing, he introduced himself in Chinese: “My name is Yang Shih-hao, I’m 26 years old and I’m from Taiwan!” which greatly moved the Taiwanese audience.

The artist perfectly demonstrated the power and beauty of the human body through his movements. When the music ended, Yang gave the wheel an affectionate kiss and touched it, as if showing gratitude, after which the audience and the judges all stood up and applauded.

“You know every once in a great while on the show, we three judges and the audience get to be transported to some other place. That’s exactly what happened to me when I watch you.” said judge and well-known lyricist David Foster.

In the end, the judges gave the answer “absolute yes” and unanimously let Yang advance to the next round of the competition. Foster even said “It’s a thousand percent yes for me,” giving the artist highly complimentary remarks.
