北捷5路線玩臉書 誰是你的地下情人?| Taipei Metro launches Facebook pages to celebrate 10 billion travelers milestone

TAIPEI (The China Post) – In prevision of its 10 billionth traveler milestone, Taipei Metro recently announced a series of activities, including the launch of Facebook fan pages for its five major lines through which the public will be able to share stories on their favorite lines.

台北捷運公司為慶祝將突破 100 億旅運人次,推出一系列慶祝活動,其中,「為五大捷運線應援」活動將板南線、淡水信義線、松山新店線、文湖線、中和新蘆線擬人化,要號召民眾一起為喜愛的路線應援。

The five routes each have a different character: the Bannan Line is nicknamed “your underground lover;” the Tamsui-Xinyi Line is “the officially certified line of the Taipei City Government;” the Wenhu line is called “for the noble and esteemed” one, and the Zhonghe Xinlu line is dubbed “a furious guy” for its frequent occurrence of criminal cases.

每條捷運路線有不同的性格設計,像是板南線是「你的地下情人」、淡水信義線是「經台北市政府官方認證的紅線」、文湖線是「夠高,才有格局,有包廂,才夠尊榮」,中和新蘆線則被網友戲稱是「 8+9 拍慶請」,因為常有社會案件發生。

The activities are planned and carried out by “SimpleinfoDesign,” whose co-founder, Chang Chih-chi shared his thoughts on a Facebook post.

這一場捷運之亂是由簡訊設計的「趨勢行銷部」團隊來企劃與執行,簡訊設計共同創辦人張志祺也在臉書上分享發想過程。

Chang said that the idea of transforming the metro lines into Facebook virtual friends would encourage the public to better know the stories behind each metro lines while increasing interest in their daily commute.

他表示,透過捷運以吉祥物化身、 FB 虛擬好友的形象,主動接觸群眾、推銷自己,製造出反差感吸引目光。

He also said that the new project would further create momentum ahead of its 10 billionth traveler milestone.
