Originally a small, casual restaurant in Tianmu neighborhood, Saffron 46 has grown into one of the most prominent fine dining Indian cuisines available in Taipei.
The family-owned restaurant traded its sheltered and cozy appearance for luxurious furniture, including a generous bar, and an alluring view of Taipei 101 after expanding into Xinyi district.
Open from noon to midnight, Saffron 64 offers lunch, dinner and bar services. Compared to the restaurant’s original location, Saffron 64 also provides a wider variety of dishes, including numerous appetizers, vegetarian options, poultry, lamb, alcoholic drinks and seafood entrees.
To boost their restaurant services, Saffron 46 also hired Aki Wang, the world’s top bartender champion to serve at their newly built bar.
Saffron 46 hopes to celebrate traditional Indian cuisine through culturally accurate meals. On their official website, Saffron 46 claims to “present innovative Indian dishes grounded in Traditional cooking techniques.”
