On a popular online chat room (PTT), a curious customer claimed that Ding Tai Fung’s fried rice does not contain soy sauce and pepper. It is thus prompting the question of how fried rice is made.
原 PO 以「鼎泰豐炒飯到底怎麼炒的」為題，文中提到吃了鼎泰豐的蝦仁肉絲炒飯，直呼「媽呀！就一個炒飯而以，為啥那麼好吃？連我家巷口都被屌打」。
The curious customer’s post was originally titled “How Ding Tai Fung’s Fried Rice is Fried?” In the post, the customer claims, “Gosh! Just a bowl of fried rice, why is it so delicious? Even my front door is being ‘beat’.”
As soon as the post was uploaded online, a heated discussion among Taiwanese residents arose. Many people claimed that the deliciousness of Ding Tai Fung’s fried rice was from the “clear division of chefs” and that “secrets can’t be said, but you can apply for a job at Din Tai Fung to learn!”
