To most people, scallops are well-cooked seafood presented on the tableHave you ever seen an enthusiastic scallop though?

Jule Casey, a free diver, has recently captured images of frisky scallops swimming underwater while diving into the sea of Mornington Peninsula, Australia. Lets see how fast scallops are swimming underwater!

In response to a post on Instagram, some netizens said the video was an eye-opening experienceI feel like they run away screaming,” a person said. “Ive never seen a living scallop, let alone a swimming scallop. Another said: These energetic scallops remind me of my grandmothers dentures.”

In fact, scallops have white muscles at the center that open and close the two shells. Also, a hundred of small eyes along the edge of their mantles can adapt them to the dimmed lights so that they can precisely identify the direction in the darkness.
