Taiwan boy band to reunite for Kaohsiung concert in 2020
TAIPEI (The China Post/ANN) — Popular Taiwan boy band 5566 unveiled plans on Monday for a concert at Kaohsiung Arena (高雄巨蛋) on March 7, 2020, their 4th reunion since disbanding in 2008.
The band’s name is derived from their original five members — Zax Wang, Jason Hsu, Sam Wang, Rio Peng and bandleader Tony Sun — who have been working in various entertainment fields: singing, movies and dramas, hosting, modeling, commercials, and dancing.
In addition to the upcoming concert for which tickets will go on sale at noon on Nov. 2 on tixCraft (拓元售票) ticket selling platform, 5566 shared their plans for a new album. Over the course of their career, 5566 have released four albums and starred in three idol dramas.
