TAIPEI (The China Post/ANN) — Mando-pop diva A-Lin said on Oct. 30 that she will start her world tour next year with a mega concert at Taipei Arena (台北小巨蛋).
The Taiwanese songwriter and singer, also known as Huang Li-ling (黃麗玲), said her 2020 world tour will kick off with concerts on Feb. 14-16 on the theme of “Passenger” (Passenger 旅．課).
The world tour tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Nov. 9 on the KKTIX ticket selling platform.
A-Lin, nicknamed “A Born Diva” (天生歌姬) because of her voice, is from Amis descent, a Taiwanese aboriginal group.
She has won praises from the public after the release of her debut album “Lovelorn, Not Guilty”(失戀無罪) in 2006.
She was nominated for “best new artist” and “best Mandarin female singer” categories in the 2007 and 2008 Golden Melody Award (金曲獎) respectively. The annual award ceremony is organized by the Ministry of Culture (文化部).
