TAIPEI (The China Post) — The Ministry of Education has recently unveiled a new internship program that combines with the monthly scholarship incentive available for foreign students attending local schools and universities.

Eligible applicants include university students and junior college students attending local schools with one biological parent of Southeast Asian nationality.

If the above applies, applicants are invited to join internship programs at Taiwan businesses in various Southeast Asian countries.

Applicants who train or intern for at least four weeks or more can receive a year’s scholarship of up to NT$80,000.

Interested parties can apply at their respective schools.
