Tsai Ing-wen points to inconsistencies in KMT hopeful speeches

TAIPEI (The China Post) — Tsai Ing-wen responded to news reports that presidential opponent Han Kuo-yu has recently bought real estate priced at NT$72 million.

The incumbent president claimed that the action defied the image of being an average citizen that Han usually portrays.

In response to Han’s remark on politicians invading his privacy and hacking into his personal information, Tsai said that proof is needed in order to verify such allegations.
