Chunghwua Post unveils postage stamps for Year of Rat

TAIPEI (The China Post) — Chunghwa Post (中華郵政) unveiled on Thursday its new postage stamps set for the Year of the Rat.
The stamps will be available across Taiwan starting on Dec. 3, according to a statement released by the official postal service of Taiwan.
To welcome the new year, the agency has launched a set of postage stamps that matches the Chinese zodiac since 1963.
The Chinese zodiac, based on the Chinese calendar, follows a 12-year cycle with each year represented by an animal and its reputed attributes.
The Year of the Rat marks the beginning of a new cycle of 12 animals.
