Magnitude 5 earthquake strikes Yilan, northern Taiwan

TAIPEI (The China Post) — A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit Yilan, eastern Taiwan at 7:25 p.m. today, where an intensity level of 4 was felt, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).

The intensity was measured at level 3 in both Taipei City and New Taipei City, according to authorities.
