TAIPEI (The China Post) — Many restaurants have been hit hard in New York City amid the pandemic and resulting lockdown.

A Taiwanese restaurant, “886,” well-known its delicious cuisine, has turned this challenge into an opportunity to help others, raising money to bring thousands of meal boxes to front line medical workers.

The good deeds have received praise online, including from former NBA player Jeremy Lin.
