TAIPEI (The China Post) — Concord Securities Co. Ltd has been holding its industry-academia cooperation camp for thirteen years. This year’s event, which started on July 13, has attracted Taiwanese students studying from Taiwan and aboard, including the National Taiwan University, University of Taipei, Lancaster University of England and the University of Toronto of Canada.
The six-week-long camp is aimed for students to thoroughly understand the climate and functions of the corporation with field experience.
Over the duration of the event, participants attend seminars conducted by well-known figures in the industry, intern at their departments of choice within the cooperation and work at the company’s subsidiaries around the country to experience the hardship that a receptionist endures.
Apart from the event, Concord Security also supports academia by funding the baseball team of the Daojiang High School of Commerce to encourage indigenous Taiwanese students to enjoy diversified career development and funding the School of Financial Technology of Ming Chuan University to aid students from poverty on the path of learning.
Concord Security’s dedication to students is evident, and it only intends to do more.
