Taiwanese “DJson” posted a video to Instagram on July 16, showing himself driving up to a local McDonald’s Drive-Thru and making his orders with rap. To his surprise, the unfazed employee immediately began ordering his meals and succeeded in listing out all of the DJ’s orders.
Her fast reaction and calm attitude elicited praise from netizens.
In the post, the DJ wrote “When you order in rap and the McDonald’s employee got it all…” In the video, you can see DJson in the Drive-Thru, and rapping along to some music.
The lyrics included sentences such as, “I would like a double cheeseburger; Because I haven’t eaten all day, I may not be satisfied with just that…,” and more. He also upgraded many of his orders, resulting in a list of over 10 meal packs.
To the DJ’s surprise, the McDonald’s employee began ordering his meals as fast as he rapped them, and when the song was finished, she even asked, “So is that one for each item?”
The employee’s calm reaction seemed to fluster the DJ, with him swiftly explaining he was merely joking and that he didn’t want all the orders.
The video has since garnered 12,000 likes within 24 hours, with many commenting “the employee is a literal angel” and “the employee has a high EQ.”
On the other hand, many netizens also blasted the rapper, asking why he didn’t buy all the things he ordered and questioned if he only dared to rap but didn’t dare to pay.
