TAIPEI (The China Post) — Amid the extension of the Level 3 epidemic warning, the Alishan National Scenic Area Administration (ANSAA, 阿里山國家風景區管理處) has decided to share Alishan’s (阿里山) beautiful scenery by live streaming different places of interest.

The initiative allows you to enjoy Taiwan’s mountainous landscapes from the comfort of your home, including the Niupuzai Grassland (牛埔仔大草原), Chukou Visitor Center (觸口遊客中心), Lijia Information Station (里佳資訊站), Taiping Suspension Bridge (太平雲梯), Eryanping Trail (二廷平步道) and Shengli Farms (生力農場).

Despite the travel restrictions, many can still enjoy the mountains, tea gardens, and sunrises that Alishan is known for. Each stream amasses around one thousand to two thousand people and goes on from morning to night, capturing different angles of each area at different times of the day.

However, even if you’re not an early riser, you can still go back through the stream to watch anything you missed. When trapped at home, it’s important to find things to do and ways to relax, like enjoying the scenery at Alishan from the comfort of your own home.
